I really like this piece I finished off this morning. It's kind of the same simple imagery but a little bit different at the same time. I quite often doodle arrows when I'm collaging (is this a word, my spell check says no!) different shapes and symbols together to form a sketch but have never found the right time to bring them in to any finished sketches. I always think about prison uniforms and 'the mark of shame' they symbolize and in many ways this piece is about discomfort and embarrassment. I'm hoping to make more use of the arrows in the coming weeks and get them firmly embedded into my regime...
